Potential Power Nutrition Breakfast Blend
What Is The Potential Power Nutrition Blend?
The Breakfast Blend is an all-in-one multivitamin and meal replacement shake by Potential Power Nutrition.
(It was created by Dr. Mary Balliett, who was Dr. Pulley’s Biochemistry teacher in chiropractic school! Dr. Balliett is also the person who turned Dr. Pulley onto whole food nutrition in general, and Standard Process in particular.)
“The Potential Power Nutrition Breakfast Blend provides total metabolic support to give your body everything it needs in the right forms and the right quantities, so you meet your nutritional goals without going over and risk negative side effects related to over supplementation.”
Why Is It Important?
This Breakfast Blend is important because it provides all of the micronutrition you need to function at your best.
Why is micronutrition important? Great question!
Do you remember chemistry? (Just say yes.) Enzymes are involved in most of the biochemical reactions that take place in your body. At least 4,000 such reactions are known to be catalyzed by enzymes; and enzymes require co-factors in order to work. What are these co-factors? Micronutrients!
Many people who have health challenges that have “no known cause” and are dismissed by traditional medicine often are suffering from micronutrient deficiencies, which trad med simply does not test for (because they do not understand the value).
Symptoms of Micronutrient Deficiency
These symptoms can vary significantly because they are dependent on which micronutrient(s) is deficient.
However, some of the most common deficiency symptoms include:
- Fatigue
- Weakness
- Shortness of breath
- Dizziness
- Poor hair, skin, and nails
- Apathy
- Paleness
- Weakened immune system
- Trouble losing weight
One of the most telling symptoms is known as “hidden hunger” – when you eat enough (or more than enough) food but you are still hungry. The reason you are still hungry is because your body is craving one or more micronutrients, so it wants you to find and eat it.
For example: in the office, I will do a Zinc Taste Test if I suspect deficiency (loss of appetite, reproductive issues, delayed wound healing, changes in cognitive and psychological function). All the person does is take a taste of a zinc mixture:
- Tastes like water? You are severely zinc deficient.
- Tastes a little metallic or you get a delay before tasting anything? You are zinc deficient.
- Tastes like metal immediately? You are fine!
So it turns out that if you have cravings that you just cannot control (and thus have trouble losing weight), you may simply be deficient in one or more micronutrients. A simple supplement can help!
Micronutrient Support
I recommend the Breakfast Blend to anyone who suspects they have a micronutrient deficiency because this product is well-balanced and it contains all of the most common micronutrients.
Bonus: it actually tastes good AND can be used as a meal replacement to enhance weight loss!
We carry the Breakfast Blend at the office, so if you want to try a box, give us a call at 978-237-5106 or email us at [email protected].
